# Get Media List

GET https://api.gorilladash.com/api/v1/media

Media library items for the calling organisation or tribe.

Each item returns `id`, `organisation_id`, `name`, `description` and `url` (the cropped original). `id` and `organisation_id` were added in the August 2026 contract pass.

**Limits** — `results_per_page` is 1–1000. **The default is 5**, so pass it explicitly if you want more; over 1000 returns HTTP 422.

Success is HTTP **201**, not 200. Read responses on this endpoint are cached and carry cache headers.

### Query parameters

- `starred` (integer, optional) — Only starred media.
- `tribe_slug` (string, optional) — Restrict to one tribe by slug.
- `results_per_page` (integer, optional) — Records per page. 1-1000. DEFAULT IS 5 - pass explicitly. Over 1000 returns 422.
