Create Enquiry

Push a lead into Gorilla Dash.

Required — enquiry_form_slug (the form’s slug, not its name — list them with GET /enquiry-forms), first_name, email. Everything else is optional.

tracking_data (attribution parameters — how the lead gets a source other than “Direct”)

• Validated per row since August 2026: parameter is a required string; value, path and session_at are nullable.
• session_at is optional. Omit it and it defaults to the time of receipt. Previously a row without it aborted the insert and the whole lead was lost with a 500.
• Numeric and boolean scalars (a Meta ad_id, for example) are coerced to strings before validation, so existing senders do not newly 422. Arrays and objects still 422.
• Control characters (NUL in particular) are stripped from the parameter name, value and path.

fields — names are matched against the enquiry form’s own fields. Anything not on the form is silently dropped, so check the form definition with GET /enquiry-forms/{slug} first.

404 has two unrelated causes — the enquiry_form_slug does not exist on this organisation, or the organisation has no default website.

Retries are safe: an identical payload sent twice is de-duplicated by hash and returns the same enquiry.

Success is HTTP 201.
